Grabovoi Number Sequences Apply: Methods Explained Simply

Examining, reading, visualizing, or writing down numbers: Here you'll learn about the basic approaches to working with number sequences and what I consider important when applying them.

A Quick Explanation

How do you apply Grabovoi number sequences?

Grabovoi number sequences can be used in the context of Concentration Exercises can be used in various ways: For example, a sequence of numbers can be deliberately examined, read or spoken digit by digit, visualized mentally, or written down. Which method is appropriate also depends on how a particular sequence of numbers is described in its respective source.

Before You Begin

It's not just the number that matters—it's also your concentration goal

In Grigori Grabovoi’s teachings, a sequence of numbers is not separate from its subject matter. That is why, when applying this concept, I do not begin with the question: „What number do I need?“, but first with: „What do I want to focus my attention on?“

Only then does the selection of the sequence of numbers follow, and, if applicable, the concentration method described for it.

My Principle

Goal → Source → Data Set → Method. Not the other way around.

Basic Shapes

Four Ways to Work with a Sequence of Numbers

To get started, there are several basic forms that can be distinguished. They do not have to be used at the same time. For specific exercises, the description provided by the respective source takes precedence.

01

View

Write down the sequence of numbers or place it in front of you where you can see it. Consciously focus your attention on the sequence and carefully go through each digit.

02

Read or speak

The numbers can be read silently one after another or spoken aloud. The focus is on consciously concentrating on the sequence of numbers.

03

Visualize

Another method involves visualizing the numbers in the inner space of perception. In some exercises, light, positions, or geometric structures are also described.

04

Write down

Consciously writing out a sequence of numbers can also be part of concentration. What matters here is not merely copying the numbers mechanically, but rather the conscious attention paid during the process.

To Get Started

A Simple Four-Step Process

If no more specific method needs to be considered for a sequence of numbers, a simple concentration exercise can be structured clearly.

Step 1

Clarify the goal

State as clearly as possible what you want to focus your attention on.

Step 2

Check the source

As far as possible, determine which topic the sequence of numbers was originally associated with.

Step 3

Concentrate

Look at, read, or visualize the sequence of numbers mindfully and without unnecessary distractions.

Step 4

Trade

Where appropriate, combine mindfulness practice with a specific action in your daily life.

Frequently Asked Questions About Practice

How long should I concentrate?

For this reason, I have deliberately chosen not to specify a universal number of minutes for all number sequences. Some exercises and teaching materials describe specific time periods; others are phrased in more open-ended terms .

For me, therefore, the key point is this: If the original source specifies a specific duration or a particular sequence of events, this context should be taken into account.

Do I have to memorize a sequence of numbers?

That isn't necessary for simple concentration. You can have the sequence of numbers right in front of you and consciously focus your attention on it. Memorizing it may happen naturally over time, but it's not a prerequisite for getting started.

Do I have to see all the digits at the same time?

No. Depending on the concentration method, one can either focus on the entire series or direct one’s attention sequentially to individual digits. Specific techniques, however, should only be presented as general rules when this can actually be derived from the respective source.

Sources take precedence over blanket rules

Not every method automatically applies to every sequence of numbers

On the Internet, different forms of concentration are often conflated. This quickly creates the impression that every set of numbers must always be applied in the same way.

That is exactly what I want to avoid in this knowledge library. When Grigori Grabovoi describes a specific procedure for a particular topic, I attribute that method, as far as possible, to that exact source and context.

If, on the other hand, an application cannot be clearly traced back to a primary source, I do not classify it as a verified original method.

Practical Classification

Awareness work does not replace concrete action

It is especially important to me not to let concentration exercises take the place of necessary practical steps.

When dealing with a business-related issue, for example, discussions, calculations, or decisions may be necessary. In the case of health problems, medical evaluation and treatment may be necessary.

Consciously align

Concentration can be used as part of personal consciousness work.

Take Concrete Action

Technical, medical, legal, financial, or business decisions are made based on the information required in each case.

Frequently Asked Questions

Questions About the Use of Number Sequences

Do I have to say the Grabovoi number sequences out loud?

No. A sequence of numbers can, for example, be read internally, viewed visually, or used as part of a visualization. Here, too, the key factor is the underlying concentration method.

Can I just write down a sequence of numbers?

Writing things down can be part of a conscious concentration exercise. However, I distinguish between simply writing down a sequence of numbers mechanically and a deliberate concentration exercise.

What color should the numbers be when visualizing them?

Various exercises can be used to describe specific perceptions of light or color. However, I would not derive a blanket rule from this that applies to every sequence of numbers. When a specific representation is part of a source, it is marked accordingly.

Can I use multiple number series at the same time?

There are various methods that involve working with multiple numbers or sequences of numbers. However, these specific methods should be considered separately from the simple basic application and explained in light of their respective sources.

How often can I work with a sequence of numbers?

It is not possible to establish a general rule regarding frequency for all number sequences. For specific exercises, I follow the instructions provided in the respective source.

What should I do if my mind wanders while I'm trying to concentrate?

Feel free to refocus your attention on your goal and the sequence of numbers. Concentration doesn't mean that other thoughts are never allowed to pop into your mind.
